The Entomology Unit

The Entomology Unit is responsible for the diagnosis and management of plant pest. It conducts research in the field of Entomology and develops Integrated Pest Management Protocols.

It also offers training in entomology and management of entomological problems. It provides a national diagnostic service in Entomology through the processing of samples at its diagnostic laboratory, plant clinics, exhibitions, and farm visits.
