Phthorimaea absoluta (Tuta absoluta)
Phthorimaea absoluta, also known as tuta absoluta or the tomato leaf miner, is a small moth that feeds on plants in the Solanaceous family, which includes tomato, peppers and melongene.
The pest is especially destructive on high-value tomatoes and can cause between 80-100% crop loss.
