Electronic Document Management System.

EDMS converts hard copy files within the Vault of the Commissioner of State Lands to digital versions. The digitized data is then organized and stored in a systematic way to facilitate specific queries and thus enhance data discovery. The data extracted and organized by EDMS would be merged with the GIS system called SIMS (Spatial Information Management System), thus creating a robust database of all information pertaining to state lands.
