VAT Exemption on Marine Accessories and Engine Parts
This facility is available to Vessel Owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate and Certificate of Registry for vessel).
Applicants are required to:
- Produce a Valid Fisherman’s Certificate and Certificate of Registry for vessel at the respective sales outlet where a proforma invoice can then be provided;
- Submit the pro forma invoice to the Fisheries Division for verification and approval;
If approved, the proforma invoice is then submitted to the company of purchase to obtain the commodity at the discounted price (VAT removed).
