Rebate on Gasoline, Diesel and Oil used in fishing vessels
This facility is available to Registered Vessel Owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate, Certificate of Registry for vessel) and whose vessels and engines are operational
Registered fishing vessel owners are eligible for the following incentives;
- Gasoline used in fishing vessels – $0.12/litre
- Diesel fuel used in fishing vessels – $0.10/litre
- Oil used in fishing vessels – $0.75/litre
Applicants are required to:
- Complete a Fuel Purchase form, Quota Card form (for each engine) and application form (all available at the Fisheries Division);
- Submit the above documents to the Fisheries Division with original bills on a quarterly basis for consideration.
