National Stakeholder Consultation on the Fisheries Management Bill

The Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries will be hosting several Stakeholder Consultations on the New Fisheries Management Bill 2023, which aims to create a robust legal basis to allow the fisheries administrations to effectively regulate the fishing industry and manage the fisheries resources belonging to the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Scheduling of the upcoming National Stakeholder Consultations

Trinidad:

  •  Sunday 5th November, 2023 –  Bagatelle Community Centre, Diego Martin –  2:30 p.m.

  •  Monday 6th November, 2023 – National Energy Skills Centre, Couva – 10:00 a.m. 

  •  Wednesday 8th November, 2023 – Pleasantville Community Centre, San Fernando – 10:00 a.m. 

  •  Friday 10th November, 2023 – North Eastern Community Centre, Sangre Grande – 10:00 a.m. 

Tobago:

  • Wednesday 15th November, 2023 – Betsy’s Hope Community Centre, Delaford – 9:00 a.m.

  • Wednesday 15th November, 2023 – Shaw Park Complex, Scarborough – 2:00 p.m.
