Giant African Snails

The Giant African Snail ‘Achatina Fulica’ is a plant pest that has first appeared in Trinidad in 2008 and has since spread to different parts of the country over time. The Giant African Snail is one of the world’s most destructive land snails and it is an alien invasive species of quarantine importance.
