This facility is available to Registered Vessel Owners. 25% of the purchase cost of pirogues to a maximum of $5000.00 is provided for vessel replacement.
Applicants are required to:
- Complete the relevant form with respect to scrapped vessel.
- Complete the application form available from the Fisheries Division and submit with original receipts pertaining to newly registered vessel.
This facility is available to Registered Vessel Owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate and Certificate of Registry for vessel). 10% of the purchase cost of new semi-industrial/industrial type vessels to a maximum of $50,000.
Applicants are required to complete an application form available from the Division and submit with line drawings or photographs of the proposed vessel (specifications included) and original receipts;
NB. The vessel is to be inspected before the subsidy is approved. If approved, the subsidy will be paid in five annual tranches of $10,000 each. An application must be submitted annually for each of the five tranches.
This facility is available to Registered vessel owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate and Certificate of Registry for vessel) of a minimum of three (3) registered pirogues or one (1) registered industrial type fishing vessel are eligible.
15% of the purchase price of specified vehicles (obtain details from the Fisheries Division) to a stipulated maximum (depending on the type of vehicle and whether it is foreign used or new)
After purchase of the vehicle, the applicant is required to:
- Complete and submit the prescribed form available from the Fisheries Division
- Submit the original bills, certified copy of ownership of the vehicle (Licencing Division) and proof of ownership of fishing vessel(s) to the Fisheries Division;
If approved, the subsidy is paid in five annual tranches. Note that an application must be submitted annually for each of the five tranche payments.
