This facility is available to Registered Vessel Owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate, Certificate of Record for vessel).

Applicants are required to:

  1. Complete the relevant forms (available at the Fisheries Division and the sales company);
  2. Submit the completed forms to the Fisheries Division for approval;

If approved the forms are returned to the company which then submits them to the Customs and Excise Division; following verification by the Customs and Excise Division, the forms are returned to the company which then delivers the item(s) to the customer.

Immediately

This facility is available to Vessel Owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate and Certificate of Registry for vessel).

Applicants are required to:

  1.  Produce a Valid Fisherman’s Certificate and Certificate of Registry for vessel at the respective sales outlet where a proforma invoice can then be provided;
  2. Submit the pro forma invoice to the Fisheries Division for verification and approval;

If approved, the proforma invoice is then submitted to the company of purchase to obtain the commodity at the discounted price (VAT removed).

This facility is available to Registered Vessel Owners (Valid Fisherman’s Certificate).

Applicants are required to:

  1. Complete the relevant forms (available at the Fisheries Division);
  1. Submit the completed forms to the Fisheries Division for approval;

If approved the forms are submitted to the Customs and Excise Division; following clearance by the Customs and Excise Division, copies of the forms are returned to the Fisheries Division.

Time-frame:

5-10 days subject to the completion and verification of documentation.

Persons intending to import a vessel to be used for commercial fishing must consult the Fisheries Division prior to importation.

Applicants will be required to submit documentation relating to the proposed fishing operations, vessel specifications, purchase agreement, owner, among other things.

Time-frame:

1-2 weeks

Applicants are required to:

  1. Complete the application form available from the Fisheries Division.
  2. Submit the form along with proforma for consideration.

This facility is available for an exemption value of up to TT$5,000. It is open to registered farmers with a green card.

Application for Vat Exemption are to be made at County Office

Farmers must report such incidents at the County office where the farm is located and not where they reside. All reports MUST be made within 7 days.

Duty free concessions may be accessed by members of the public engaging in legitimate agricultural activities or providing support to same, once certain requirements are met.

Please send requests and inquiries to the Office of the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) informing of name, address and agricultural commodity/commodities for which one wishes to access duty-free concessions.
