Notice of Reopening of Sale of Planting material, Agricultural Services Division

The Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries (MALF), Agricultural Services Division wishes to inform customers that the sale of high quality planting material will resume with effect from May 4, 2020 from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, and will continue to operate at these times until the lifting of the current “Stay at Home Measures.”

High quality plants, seeds and /or seedlings will be available at the following stations:

  • Augustine Nurseries, Farm Road, Curepe

 

  • La Reunion Plant Propagation Station, Centeno

 

  • Marper Farm, Plum Mitan, Manzanilla

 

Patrons are kindly asked to note that COVID 19 prevention measures implemented by the MALF will be in effect at all stations. These measures include the wearing of facemasks, washing of hands using soap and water or hand sanitizers provided and anyone displaying flu like symptoms will not be allowed to enter the compound. Finally social distancing rule will apply.

The Ministry thanks all our clients for their understanding and cooperation as we work together to control the spread of the deadly COVID 19 virus.
